They have their own opinions expressed by business partners.
When I first started, I said yes to everything.
This is what most businessmen do. You are in the blood format, and you don’t want to lose any opportunity, so you keep stacking your calendar and moving. But at some point, it all becomes a responsibility in yes.
For me, it appeared in the form of disturbances. I was spending time on things that were not align with our powers, did not serve my customers, and, if I am honest, I or my team did not reinforce. I knew that I needed a filter to assess the floods of opportunities coming in our way.
So I built a.
Today, before we say anything new, whether it be a product, a partnership or a big move, we run it through five easy but powerful questions. These questions keep us focused on what we do better, what we care about, and where we are going.
If you are growing faster or felt, this filter can also help you.

1. How does this have an impact on our development?
From here I start. The growth has to be part of the result, but not just the increase in revenue. This can mean enhancing market share, expanding strategic niche, building our portfolio or even improving our internal skills. But it has to move the business in a meaningful way.
I have learned to look beyond clear. Sometimes, a new opportunity creates a door in the customer segment that was not accessible before. This initial admission point may not be your biggest revenue driver, but it may position you to offer you a more effective solution below the line.
This is what I call the development of the highest benefit: something that produces not only in motion but also speed.
2. Is it compatible with our unique ability?
Our team has a special power: Farmers’ invention using a specific combination of marketing and sales strategy, market tests products. We don’t just distribute tools – we tell them the story, create confidence and get them in front of the right people.
When we live in this lane, we win.
But I have already stepped outside this lane. I once took a project just because I liked the person behind it. Their products were already in the market, it was not different, and it did not play our powers. We eventually had to walk away from it, and in the distant concern, we should never say yes.
Every founder needs to know what they are Really, really Is good. And once you appreciate it, you have to protect it.

3. Does it reflect our mission and values?
In the Thunder truck, our mission is clear: We connect farmers with modern products that solve real -world problems. That word, ModernIs a deal breaker. If a product is not different or better, if it does not solve anything in a smart way, it is not suitable for us.
We do not need a checklist to eliminate misunderstandings. We know things like our values, integrity, respect and long -term thinking. If we are examining a potential partner or opportunity and feels something, we are confident in this instinct.
As a founder, the moment you start making decisions that are not in accordance with you or why you started, the entire Foundation is cracked. You lose the explanation. Your team feels it. And finally, your user does the same.
4. Does success mean more freedom or less?
Many businessmen chase growth at all costs, just to realize that they have made themselves a cage.
Years ago, I found myself in this place. I was putting time, energy and resources into a technically successful project, but it made me zero flexible. I was running two businesses at the same time and there was no place to breathe. This experience taught me a critical truth: If a chance does not create much freedom, this is not a real development.
These days, I just say yes to the things that give our team more space to move, the more weight is not overweight.

5. Is that fun?
Most traders do not think about entertainment when they are examining a new opportunity. They think about development, scale and implementation. But if the work does not strengthen you or your team, it will not remain.
Fun does not mean it is easy. This means that the challenge feels worth it. This means that your people are bent, not checking. You can make a difference when you make a few clicks. The team is busy. Thoughts are flowing. There is energy in the room.
And you can feel it when that spark is not there. The room is silent. Progress is slow. No one is excited to take it again.
I’ve been on both sides. When we capture something that excited us, we perform better. The sale intensifies. Marketing becomes more creative. The whole company runs strong.
The founders often ignore happiness because it does not appear on the spreadsheet. But if you plan to increase something meaningful, it will have to be sustainable. Happiness is the one that runs the engine. Neglect it, and everything slows down. Prefer it, and everything moves forward.
At the end of the day, opportunity is not a difficult part. The shiny pitch of the world is full of good ideas and people who want your time.
The hard part is to know what is Your Chasing and what is just noise.
This is what the filter does. It cleanses static. It focuses on your team, maintains your values and sustains your development. Because finally, it’s not about how much you can take. It’s about being a leader who knows what your time really deserves.
