Women are making real progress in venture capital, and the number proves that

A new report from all the Rice Rice states that despite the leadership of the market, the role of partners in leading firms has doubled the percentage of women and non -binary people. All CEO Page Hendrix Baconer spoke to the Tech Crunch’s Dominic Madouri Davis as to what shift is going on in this week’s equity.

He said about progress for women, “It has two pieces.” He said that most of his work is to be done with firms wanting to become more efficient and he wants to promote the best people within his firms internally. The second part is that firms have the benefit of achieving more diverse voices at the decision -making table. He added, “One, people came to the door, and then second, people managed to perform.”

But there is still a lot to do. Compensation, for one, is still a problem. Also, the megaphroms, who manage assets worth more than $ 10 billion, are still not many women in these high partnership roles.

“It takes time to change it,” he said.

Fortunately, it seems that the good news is already on the way.
