Google’s primary company Alfbit is fighting a non -confidence case presented by the US Department of Justice (DOJ). As a result of this case, the company can be forced to sell chrome. During the judicial proceedings for this case, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Sunder Pachai mentioned the progress agreement with Apple, which can integrate its AI services into the iPhone.
According to BloombergPachai told the court that he hopes that Jamni will be included this year on the iPhones as a Bullet in AI option. The CEO added that they are talking to Apple’s CEO Tim Cook in 2024 in connection with the matter. In addition, Pachai has revealed that he hopes he will make a contract by mid -2025.
Since March 2024, it has been learned that Apple has been talking to Google to add the Gemini AI engine to the iPhone. Apple’s key officials also confirmed in an interview in June that the company hopes Gemini will come to the iPhones in the future. However, it was not known how soon the two parties could reach an agreement.
This will not be the first time these rival companies have contributed for something. In particular, Google paid billions of dollars to Apple to make its search engine default option on Safari.
Apple currently contributes with Open AI for Chat GPT integration. Although Apple Intelligence handles majority tasks on iOS devices, Chat GPT is used to help Siri and some other features.
