I endanger everything to build my company. Four years later, here I have learned about building real, lasting success

They have their own opinions expressed by business partners.

When I first moved to the United States, my goal was easy: to survive. I have no links, a little understanding of the system, and a burning desire to create a meaningful thing. At the age of 33, I shared my journey here – how I used Great, Education and a little fate to launch real estate tech startups made on transparency.

Four years later, I’m still standing – but I have changed. So my success is appreciated.

Today, I am the founder and CEO of a growing real estate tech company in New York City. But how do I run my business – and how I live – looks quite different when I started. I have learned that it takes more time to build something sustainable. This requires alignment, explanation and development.

These are five lessons I wish I knew soon. Now they set the basis for how I guide and advise others.

1. Stop chase last line

Initially, I thought success means to scale faster, raise capital and stay in the spotlight. But there is a prescription to move towards the ambiguous purpose.

Now, I prefer the rhythm over speed. In my weeks, deep work, reflection and meaningful conversation have been created around. Sustainable growth is not a linear – this is a repetition. Whether you are making a business or visiting a carrier shift, ask yourself: Which version of success sounds good, just not good to post?

Start your week with a “explanation session”. Make a list of your first three priorities – for your business and your fitness. If your calendar does not reflect them, you are running someone else’s race.

2. Your business should serve your life – not in the other way

For a while, my business operated me. Each client’s problem, notification and small victory or loss determined my emotions. I was a reaction, and my personal life paid the price.

Now, I see my company as the car of the life that I want to guide. I have created systems that support sovereignty, hire people who do not need micro -managing and require creation. Floose This does not require 24/7 attention.

Design your business – or your career backwards. Start by explaining the lifestyle of your choice, then make your work structure around it. The shift of this mentality made me a more current man and a better leader.

3. Real estate is still a great way for wealth – if you play long games

My company helps people honest, informed property in realistic decisions. I have seen many chase trends or tried to give time to the market. But the property rewards the patience and point of view.

Some of my best investments did not look interesting on paper – but they had strong basic principles. Over time, they became financially and personally strategic assets.

Avoid hype. Focus on long -term value. Sometimes, nothing you can do is a smart move.

4. You don’t have to be the highest person in the room

In my early years, I believe it is equal to success. I made more indicators on the events, interviews, the panels of the forehead-working events.

But the most effective movements of my career came from the silent, concentrated work behind the screen. Today, I choose more depth than the noise. I nurture some meaningful relationships and let the results speak for myself.

Make your “confidence circle”. Choose the five people you admire and invest in these contacts. You do not need any major network. You need a strong.

The biggest story I believe is to reach success. But success is a constant movement. This is colonial. Axis without losing your center.

I am ready from immigrants to employee, guide the tech CEO, and now an educator from the founder. I make traders a guardian, talk and write in universities – not only to share what I have learned, but also to grow myself. Every quarter, ask: Which version of me am I growing? Create your next chapter to the answer.

By turning back, my path is not straight – and I won’t change anything. Completion does not come from proving itself. It comes from construction in alignment with what you are becoming with. Whether you are just starting or starting, know it: You don’t have to create the largest company or make a loud sound to make a lasting effect. You just need to build with intention.

And most importantly – keep.
