LLM Code from Scratch – Theory to RLHF

by SkillAiNest

How do LLMs actually work?

We have just posted a course Freecodecamp.org YouTube channel that will teach you how to create a large language model from the beginning using pure piturch.

This is not your specific course that justifies the level. It is a deep diver in the internal works of the LLM, which has been created by an AI expert with more than a decade experience in both research and enterprise. You will go from Foundational Theory to build a working model, and you will even learn how to align it using modern techniques like RLHF. Vivek Klenarangan created this car.

This comprehensive, six -hour course is designed to take you on a full stack journey. You will start with the basics of transformers architecture and then go to more modern, ready -made concepts.

Here are some key titles you will cover:

  • Core Transformer architecture: Understand the blocks of the basic building of LLMS.

  • Training a small LLM: Get hands with a simple model and see how it works.

  • Modern increase: Implement advanced features such as RMSNorm, Rope, and KV Catching that make models more efficient.

  • Scaling: Learn how to use mixed precision and full logging techniques to train large models.

  • Mixing expert (MOE) layers: Discover how to use these powerful layers to make more models.

  • Under -supervised fine toning (SFT): Learn how to customize your model’s behavior.

  • Prize modeling with PPO and RLHF: This is the place where you will learn to align your model and the ETS will be more helpful and secure.

Each step is clearly specified, and the full Kodbis Gut Hub is available to experience and experience you as well.

The goal is to give you both “why” and “how” “and” how “you truly make the ideas internal and make your applications.
