A strength of Midjourney is the ability to apply styles using style reference IDs. By adding SREF (Style Reference) parameter And the ID number of a specific style in your notation allows you to use that style’s properties consistently across multiple images. Each version of the style references (MJ version 7 has two versions SV 4 and SV 6 – SV 6 is the current default version) has over 4 billion individual codes.

Note: Style references also have a special “random” feature – if you want Midjourney to choose a random style to use in your prompts, you can type the word “random” after the SREF parameter (“SREF random”) and Midjourney will replace it with the random style number.
