Hey everyone — Cy here, co-founder of Crowdcast 👋
Over the past few years, one thing has come up again and again:
Running events requires a lot of tools.
People use Zoom for meetings, webinar platforms for presentations, and streaming tools to go live on social. Each format means switching platforms, relearning workflows, and stitching things together.
It never felt right.
So with this release, we stepped back and asked:
What if one platform could handle all types of events?
This is what led to this version of Crowdcast.
Now you can:
Run interactive workshops with people on screen.
Host webinars with up to 3,000 people in the audience.
Get anyone on stage when they raise their hands.
And produce polished live streams with built-in media and stage controls.
All in one place.
One thing we’re particularly excited about:
👉 You can keep participants visible in the gallery, but muted by default—and bring them to the stage immediately. It keeps sessions interactive without chaos.
We’re still not looking to replace Zoom for small internal meetings—but for everything else, it’s the easiest way we’ve found to run events.
Would love to hear what you think – specifically:
What kind of events are you running today?
What tools are you currently sewing together?
Happy to answer anything and would really appreciate your feedback.
