Hey Ph! I’m Ibrahim, the creator of Iris Studio. Honestly, I made it out of desperation. I was spending more time switching between tools than actually creating. Higgsfield for video generation, Figma for moodboards, CapCut for editing — and somehow trying to keep it all together. Multiple subscriptions, multiple logins, nothing talks to each other. And don’t get me started on file management. Create something cool? Great — download it now, figure out where to put it, rename it so you can find it later, drag it into the next app. Repeat 50 times a day. I just wanted my stuff on my machine, organized, without thinking about it. So I started building what I wanted. An app where I can create with the latest AI models, throw things on a moodboard to explore ideas, go into the timeline to edit, and have all my assets right there — automatically saved locally, no manual downloads. What I realized is that the creative process is extremely messy. You create, rearrange, edit, realize you need a new shot, go back and create again. Jumping between apps completely kills the flow. I purposely made it a desktop app (Mac + Windows). I wanted it to look good and work with local files — not upload everything to someone else’s cloud. And that’s what excites me about what’s next: the native AI model. Imagine creating directly on your machine. No API calls, no usage fees, your work stays yours. It’s still early and I want to build a ton more, but I’d love for you to try it out and let me know what you think!
