End and Start: Welcome to Speech at the 1st Independent Games Bat Summit 2025

by SkillAiNest

Well, I’m back. It feels like I have just finished a 17 -year journey, and now a new journey has resumed. As an English Major, I liked to think about the last lines of books I read. Like the end of the Great Gatesby: So we hit the boats against the present, born in the past permanently.

I was surprised at this line as a student. But I knew when I read the words that they were part of a great piece of literature.

If you are here. No, if you are one of the 3.5 billion gamers on the planet. You are more likely to consider the meaning of the last line of your favorite video game. Because as we all know, the game culture has reached the point where it is now merely a large -scale culture.

I like how the last of us, the opening scene and the last scene in the game are likebooks. Some of our famous stories in the Games Beat have been about the elimination of biochem, and how to get properly by morning.

Our grandchildren are probably referring to the sports lines that are made for Fortentite, Mine Craft or Roblox. The form of art changes, but the human message behind art – it is eternal.

I’m going out here seriously. But this step is mine. This is to live. And this is yours. Please welcome the new sports bat, do you please? Welcome to the Games Bat Summit 2025. Today, we are news.

Since you have come to see us here in our community, we see you. You are not hidden. Your presence here reminds me of a very good novel, the initial line of a hidden man through Ralph Allison.

I am hidden, just because people refuse to see me. If you have lost a job and looking for an opportunity to enter the industry, we see you. We have 20 people who are the gaming fans of Aamir Satut’s gaming fans and a job seeking community.

One start is a very critical time. Standing alone, many of you can feel right now. To prevent powerless injustice, to ensure justice. We are usually helpless in the sports bat that has heard our voices on corporate media dragons.

But not today. You are not standing alone today. We are the games, and we stand with you.

Today you are in the house of journalism and community. After 2.5 years of difficult times, we are here to persuade the fact that the game industry is still standing, and we are still standing to cover it with our best abilities. Today, we are here to encourage you to move forward.

At night, when many of you are playing civilization and want to go another turn, I get up at night, write another story. And the reason is that I know that if we do not cover a story, if we do not write about another game startup, the difficulties are good that no one will write this story.

I have written more than 26,000 stories in 17 years for venture bat. My colleagues Mike and Rachel have written their share. This is a sign of our commitment to the industry. Now we have turned away from Venturebat as an independent company. And all the libraries of the Games Byte’s stories will be under the new games.

Jenna Joseph, our CEO, is here to strengthen our relationships with her audience and partners, and will help us build this new era for sports bat as a media authority for this developing industry. He has hired G -Bolis to help us expand his reach with strategic partners. David Glass and Kathy Simpson are here to ensure smooth events and excellent works. Marta Redig is helping our marketing. On the written aspect, we have Mike Manoti and Rachel Kaiser. It is a small team, supported by dozens of advisers and community partners and all of you.

Many of you have offered to help and be ready to help us. Thank you for this. We can use your help, which you have done for 17 years. This means reading our stories, sharing them on social, engaging with your social content, reading your newsletters, signing up for your events, supporting them if you are capable, and standing with us for a long time.

Our mission is easy. We want to be a serious post that produces both excellent stories and events that achieve the greatness of the game industry. Our industry is so wide and firm in the culture that you deserve the media that is capable of understanding it and covering it in a virtue and professional way. We are present to try this for you.

What I have learned for dozens of years of telling stories. The truth is not easy. The facts do not always support the story you want to tell about, as I reported at the time that Google is buying the Twitter. The veterans who were shown the door – maybe they were the victims of age. The CEO who was fired for being bad? They may be trying to save jobs. You have to hear stories from different perspectives. You can’t hear what you want to hear, such as the Pentagon analysts or the editors of New York who believe we are winning the Vietnam War, while their representatives and soldiers in this field know better.

In the Games Beat, our mantra followed this money. This made us attracted to things like Metaware, Blockchain and AI. But there are also other mantras that are equivalent to telling: follow the game, and follow people. Once in a while, we write about bad actors in the industry, and when we have the support of it, we appreciate it.

Today our theme is about to return to development. It’s like last year’s theme. Just last year’s efforts could not work. So we have returned to discuss it again. This is not contrary to the large slide deck of Matthew hair that is heard all over the world. It pointed to 10 drivers who helped gaming grow in a decade, eight steps that fail to maintain growth and maintain growth, 15 challenges that are still facing the industry, and 11 potential growth engines that can restore growth. Let’s just hope that one of our debates goes to a viable path. I know that Adam Boys is planning a debate here that will provide solutions to the challenges.

We have 106 speakers. We know that we have diverse theories because our 53 % of the speaking comes from diverse background and 35 % of women. I don’t know if you saw whether you saw, but there are more women than men in the Games bat.

Despite our current political climate, we are proud to promote a different approach needed to come with the right answers and perspectives. We have another great women in the gaming session who are moderate by Rahil Kaiser and brought us through Excella. We have received our vision awards offered by Andrea Renny this morning at 10:15 am. We also have our first leakage in the gaming panel from ESA during lunch.

We do not know where we will all go. Our course is not fixed, and sometimes it seems that we are like sailors on the oceans of destiny, which are subject to more powers than our own powers. This is a Michael Morrick novel. Still, sometimes, we can throw a giant in the eyes, as Epic Games have done in their fight with Apple. As far as our direction is concerned, we can crush the media with fire breathing dragons.

But, as Arya Starc said today, not today, but to greet the God of death. We have something that others do not have. Today, we are with friends. We have grown up with friends who were in the smallest small sports of the game. You were all younger once, and see where you are today. In fact, I wrote the first story on Nvidia in 1996 – a time when it was one of the 80 graphics chip companies. And Jensen Huang is still someone I can talk about today, and now his company is worth 3 3.3 trillion.

So we are not worried, because we have 3.5 billion friends. I am grateful for your support, and the support of our team, including Jenna, David Glass, Kathy Simpson, G Bolis, Mike Manot, Marta Redig and Rachel Kaiser. We hope you will enjoy our program and our community. As Humphre Bogart said in Kasa Blanka, “This is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.”

It seems that we are now traveling on the same road like Indies in the game business. And roads? Where we are going, we do not need roads.
