Chat GPT’s headlines can dominate (and yes, I use it permanently), but Google still has a permanent tab open on my laptop.
As someone who tests AI tools for livelihood, I know that no chatboat does it all. And when Chat GPT -4O can feel smooth and smooth in the conversation, Gemini quietly improves it in some important areas. Especially when it comes to deep research, some aspects of productivity and work within Google’s ecosystem.
There are three things for which I still turn to Gemini – and why I do not intend to leave at any time.

2. Aware of context within my Google life
Gemini has an unfair advantage over Chat GPT: it lives inside my Google account. This means that it knows my piety, understands my inbox and helps to handle tasks in Gmail, documents and calendars that I have nothing.

Gemini’s deep research feature makes any topic deep and diving deeply. When I am writing something that requires attribution, the AI’s ability to refer to the results of Google Search in the context is helpful.
Yes, Chat GPT can also browse, but Gemini is based on clear results with strong formatting, and sometimes it reaches a faster pace.

Chat GPT is still going to go for many tasks, but for real -world workflows within Google Environmental System, Gemini gains its place.
To clarify, it’s not about choosing aside. In fact, I have found that chat GPT, Google and other chat boats get the best results together.
It’s all about keeping the right tool for work. And sometimes, Gemini is the device.
