Why can’t AI compete with real art | Cubism by Cubism | June, 2025

Cubism

Although artificial intelligence can give rise to impressive art by analyzing samples and imitating human styles, it mainly lacks emotional depth and living experience that requires real art. Real art is not just about techniques or aesthetics – it is about personal expression, pain, happiness and human journey. Ai can create a copy of beauty, but it cannot feel or reflect the inner world of a soul. A machine does not dream, suffer or love – and without them, it cannot really produce art that resonates on the human level.

Art, in its original, is the communication of emotions. When we look at Wan Goo’s “Night Night” or listen to Chopin’s night, we are not just appreciating skill – we are feeling a piece of the artist’s inner world. That emotional relationship is the one that strengthens art. This brush is a stroke that is born of a heartbeat, a poem written during the moments of self -discovery, or a picture taken in silence and fear. These experiments cannot be artificially created, because they are born of a complex combination of human emotions, memory and consciousness.

In addition, art often reflects society, culture and identity. An AI can be trained on data, but it does not live in any culture. It does not consider repression, happiness or identity as a human artist. A painting of a woman in which her statement is re-claimed or is a context and story of someone who controls the grief that gives her weight-lacking something, no matter how weak it is.

Of course, AI can help with the creative process. It can be a tool, such as a paint brush or camera. But tools do not replace the artist. They increase their ability to create.

Finally, the art is higher than the output – it is intention, context and links. And unless the machines can truly feel, they can suffer and dream, they will be the best resemblance – but never a real creator.

They need art, the most basic coding for the soul.
