Paramount may breathe a breath of relief – his “South Park” drama has finally ended.
For those who are in the news for all wrong reasons recently. Whether it is alleged to have been given a bribe to President Trump to get his integration with Sky Dennis Media through the FCC, or at night, his two hosts asked Paramount and Trump to say “go to himself”, as Stephen Kolbert was not very good.
But on Monday night (July 21), the media company won a major victory, which gained the rights of streaming globally in the “South Park”, and to make sure its streaming service is no longer without a significant show of it (h/t Los Angeles Times,
Yes, this means that the Hit Animated Series will now be available to us for the first time to subscribe to Paramount Plus. Earlier, the show was available to stream on HBO Max, yet new episodes were broadcast on comedy center owned by Paramount.
The reason for this is that the show creator Trey Parker and Matt Stone, through their Park County Production Company, are part of a joint venture that controls the global “South Park” streaming rights – the paramount does not completely control whom it gets.
But after making a $ 1.5 billion pony, Paramount can easily rest for five more years, when it will need to be re -discussed on these streaming rights as part of Sky Dennis Media.
‘South Park’ Saga: How do we get here and what comes forward
Let’s quickly recover how the situation in this “South Park” blown into a fully prepared story.
As I mentioned, Parker and Stone have a significant weight in discussing the streaming rights of the “South Park”. These rights have come up for talks this year, both international and American rights are coming to an end this summer.
Unfortunately, Paramount – and “South Park” fans – Sky Dennis Media, with the integration of Paramount Global, did not run easily in any small part. Sky Dennis has the authority to approve a large paramount transaction as part of the terms of integration, even before the integration of the integration, and the media company and Parker and Stone were particularly remote about the length of the contract, the “South Park” creators.
So at the end of June, US rights expired, though the show remained on HBO Max. Then, earlier this month, international rights expired, and Paramount had to drag all 26 seasons of “South Park” from Paramount Plus to outside the United States, even on Wednesday (July 23) forcing the “South Park” premiere of Season 27.
But now that drama is behind us. If you have Paramount Plus, you will now be able to see every event of the “South Park” by at least 2030. If you have HBO Max, you will have to consider signing up for Paramount Plus if you want to see the episodes of the dynamic comedy series of dear adults.
