These 8 features on my pixel secretly promote my daily productivity

Android is a treasure of features – pixels even more. The deeper you dig, the more you find it. Our own Mashal Rehman may verify it, considering that he manages to detect more features than Google’s ads. And it says a lot about a platform that most of us rely daily on our basic devices, our phone.

After spending a sinking year in Android’s bright and colorful world, I have naturally developed some personal favorites. The features that remain incredibly useful, despite being incredibly useful. Certainly, Mashal can know about all of them, but I bet that many of us forget that they are once discovered once by an unclear reddate comment.

These features – special for some pixels, other available in Android – have become part of my daily routine.

App Pinking

It is a basic but wild. When I hand over my phone to someone, say to contact a movie theater or scan the QR code, I pin the app by selecting the review option from the review screen (you must first enable the app to pose your phone’s security and privacy settings). That way, they cannot swipe in another app, whether accidentally or deliberately.

When I show them the same picture, I can’t stop friends and families from swipe in my gallery, but I can stop them from going to or holding messages. This is especially useful when my little niece or nephew borrows my phone to play the game, and I don’t want them to delete random notes or reset apps.

Split Screen Multi Tasking

Although this feature is often called big screen phones and foldable courses, I find it as easy on small devices. I often use it from the visual screen to run with other apps as well as calculator to run tools, so I don’t need to switch back and forth.

I will admit, I sometimes forget that it is there, but when I often togel myself between apps, I arrange them in the spiral screen and protect myself from anxiety.

Instant tapback indicator

Pixel phones come with this terrific indicator: a double tape on the back of the phone to stimulate the shortcut. This is formally referred to as the Quick Tape in these settings app, and I have set my appointment to drag the shadow of the notification, which I probably do a thousand times a day, whether it is obsessed with a message checking a message or rejecting the iceberg of Instagram DMS.

This is much easier than pulling your thumb to the upper part of the screen, especially when using an app. My index finger is naturally there anyway. Seeing this is just two light taps that have pled me and then come back to work to ignore them. Ease

Notification date

I have sometimes developed a reflex to remove information from a particular app without thinking – just to realize that I really need it. Although digging the settings in the app notifications to achieve the date of notification is not the most intuitive process, just knowing that the messages are not lost forever, my anxiety mind feels like a great relief.

Smart Text Selection in Review

Who would have thought that an extra tap savings could feel like such a win? On Pixel phones, you can longly press the text into the app review screen and copy it, without returning to the app.

It does not seem like anything like a big thing before. But if you are copying the details one by one, fill in the form of the WhatsApp and fill a form while the verification of the accuracy double checks, the saving taps really increase. It is a small touch that saves me a lot of friction and frustration.

Screen recording with built -in audio

Android’s ancestral screen recorder not just captures the screen. It also recorded internal audio, not just mic input. It lets you select the audio source every time when you select the option from the quick settings menu.

This feature is easy to send to friends and family people, but I also use it for more (and active) things. You can capture the chain directly from clean audio, clean audio to report problems, record small app behavior (and claim to be large -scale bucks), or save compatible lyrics from music apps when a song just collides!

All this happens without a noise from the mic. And you believe that no third party’s suspicious tools are required.

G Board Clipboard Manager

I really do not know how I will live without it now. I use the G -Board clipboard manager permanently to save text pieces, URL, parcel tracking numbers, and even Instagram captions. And it sits at a distance of just a tap under G -Board menu options.

The ability to pin items so that they do not end after an hour. When filling these dirty shapes, it also saves me that likes to refresh the moment to change apps. Supporting a long response to the clipboard has saved my seriousness more than once.

Instant share – but for yourself

Share close on the Android phone.

Headley Simonis / Android Authority

Quick shares are known for instant file transfer, but I use it less for others and more for myself.

For my work I need to move a lot of screenshots and photos from my pixel to my Mac. With a third-party utility on Macos, I can send files in seconds-as fast and smooth aircraft. And if you are on Windows, you are also fortunate because the quick share app to Google’s first party works like the attention.

How do you usually share files from your phone?

If I dig more, I am sure that I will find a dozen more gems buried inside the Android and Pixel interface. But these are what I use on my pixel every day. Even remove one of them, and both my flow and my seriousness will be completely thrown.

What do you think about? What is the thing you use about what you don’t have. Leave it in comments.
