For the past 10 years, T -Mobile has been my selection cell phone career. I’ve been on a family plan with my partner, parents and grandmother (with two lines for myself), and this has been a good experience for all of us. T -Mobile coverage is reliable, 5G speed is accelerated, and additional facilities like weekly gas coupons and discounted streaming services are good cherries at the top.
However, after a decade of being a loyal T -Mobile customer, I am canceling my account and changing another provider.
Why? This is something that has been boiling for a while, though whenever I thought about switching, I left it and decided to stay. After all, this is an easy choice. But the latest price increase of T -Mobile pushed me to the edge, and after 10 years of use, I am officially moving forward.
If you have a T -Mobile legacy plan that has been more expensive right now, what are you doing?

Pricing hikes broke the camel’s waist

For the past few years, my T -Mobile Bill is anywhere for 3 173/month for 3 183/month, depending on whether I have an active LTE service for my Apple Watch. This is for six lines on the mixture of old T -Mobile One and One Plus Plans. Not too bad
I am not very happy with everything around T -Mobile (security violations, losing customer service, etc.), but with my bill to live on a large scale, I have never forced the ship. It changed with my recent bill born late last month.
As announced in March, the cost of legacy projects in T -Mobile has increased by $ 5 per month. Thus, my bill, which usually is 3 173 or 3 183 per month, increases to $ 212. The section of my grandmother’s bill increased by $ 5, my parents increased $ 10, and I and my partner were looking for an increase in $ 15/month – which showed nothing but our pockets.
Is extra $ 15/month Mac or Brake Money? In our situation, no. But this is still an extra money we are paying without getting anything in return. As a self -made peanut pancreatar, I was not a fan of it.
T -Mobile has been checking my patience for years

But there is more. If we had only this problem with T -Mobile in 10 years, we were in the 10 years of consumers, I would probably be willing to prepare and subscribe to cost stomach. But there has been a user for so long, I have witnessed a permanent decline in the service we have been paying.
What kind of disagreement? The mobile app is a good example. For a long time, T -Mobile had separate requests for its various services. It was an important T -Mobile app to handle your account and bills, as well as another T -Mobile Tuesday app to get your free equipment each week. They were nothing surprising, but they were good, reliable mobile apps.

T -Mobile T Life App.
In 2024, T Mobile retired these applications and replaced them with a new, single T -Life app. On paper, this is a swollen idea. In practice, this has been terrible. The app permanently throws popups and survey requests on your face. Important details such as the date and payment methods are hidden under the giant banners to remind you of your managing status. The app regularly excludes me from my account, even when I am actively using it, and on numerous occasions, it has failed to take action on the bill payment.
I have witnessed a permanent decline in the service we are paying.
However, this is not just a T -Life app. The customer service was one of the biggest benefits of T -Mobile than other major carriers. Remember when T -Mobile puts a huge emphasis on his “team of experts” program? The pitch was that all users of the postpaid TMO had a small, dedicated group of customer service agents that could be helped, and you would always talk to a real person and never boot.

T -Mobile’s AI Chat Assistant, Naturally, with typeo.
Yes, no longer. The last time I used the direct chat feature in T -Life, I had to first talk to T -Mobile’s “AI -powered virtual assistant”. And, like any good AI Customer Service Chat Boat, I also have to type “customer service” and indicate that I want to talk to a real person to help my need. This is a mess.
And what? T -Mobile Tuesday’s standards of deception have declined dramatically over the past years. In 2023, if you have an auto open with a credit card, T -Mobile removed the auto -breaking exemption, which forcing you to link your bank account or debit card to maintain this discount. And this is not mentioned (at least) the violations of nine major figures that are from T -Mobile 2018.
If only one of these things were true, we would be having a different conversation. But the fact that All It has happened-and T-Mobile is now asking me to pay more money for a significant service-I’m in my important place.
I am ready to move forward

If matters are bad, why have I been with T -Mobile for so long? Because it was easy. I do not pledge allegiance to the company or anything like this, but if you have changed the carriers earlier, you will know how much this process can cause. But after months and years of frustration, raising the price over everything, eventually forced me to demand it.
After years of frustration, the price rise above everything has eventually demanded me to leave it.
Does all of this mean T -Mobile is the worst carrier there? One should you avoid completely? No. If you are fine with the price increase and are happy with your service, you will not need to switch (or want).
However, if you are a longtime customer like me who has not made any changes in a while, and you are not very happy at the speed that T -Mobile is being headed, use it as your mark to start looking for something new. That’s what I’m doing, and as time looking for a new career, I think it will finally be worth it.
