Android 16 updates will begin to select devices starting on Wednesday, June 11. Google is introducing a stable version of its next generation of the operating system earlier last year. Android 16 update release date and time
In a post on X (previously known as Twitter), the official handle of Android developers confirmed the release date of Android 16 updates. It will be made available to qualified devices as a free Over the Year (OTA) software update on Wednesday. Tech Dev has not detected the release time, which means that updates are likely to reach different areas due to different time zones.

Android 16 phone eligibility list
Initially Android 16 updates are expected to be available only on synchronized pixels devices, and it will be taken directly by other brands to the proprietary OS skin directly or in the upper part. At this time, a complete list of supported devices is not available, however, some smartphones have been confirmed to receive updates based on the number of updated bicycles provided by the manufacturer. Android 16 features to expect
As mentioned above, the expected Android 16 on Wednesday is not expected to bring a major upgrade. However, once the Android 16 QPR1 stable update is over in the next few months, it will also provide some new features, as well as the re -designed interface.
