- Qualcomm has confirmed that the Snapdragon Summit will be held on September 23-25.
- The company always uses this event to announce its next generation flagship phone processor.
- So we are expecting that Snapdragon 8 Elite General 2 will be announced in this year’s event.
Qualcomm usually announces the next generation flagship Android phone processor at the Snapdragon Summit every year in Hawaii. We have previously heard a murmur about a launch, and the company has now made it official.
Kylukom’s CEO Cristiano Amon gave an important address at Competex 2025, and confirmed one of the presentation slides (H/T: Notebook check) That the Snapdragon Summit will be on September 23-25. See screenshot below.

This means that the summit is taking place longer than in previous years. The 2024 incident took place from October 21-23, while the 2023 event covered October 24-26.
Earlier, the disclosure will allow smartphone manufacturers to launch the phone at the next generation of the next generation soon. Xumi 15 and 15 Pro were the first Snapdragon 8 elite phone and was launched on October 23. So don’t surprise if we first see the Snapdragon 8 Elite General 2 phones arrive at the end of September.
One of the biggest questions is whether blockbuster flagships like the Galaxy S26 Series and One Plus 15 will also be launched before. In any case, the previous leak points to the new chip, which offers the second -generation 3NM TSMC design, the second generation of Oryan CPU core, and a Adreno 840 GPU. The current Snapdragon 8 Elite is at the top of many benchmarks, though we also have had the heating problems when examining some devices. So here it is hoped that the next generation’s chip does not run so hot.
