Apple predicts iOS 26, the next version of iPhone software, WWDC 2025. And no, you are not reading this wrong. It has a new name, sight and more. The update of iOS 26 comes with many features and improvements I wanted for some time, including call screening.
Last year, we got Apple Intelligence, and a year ago, the company unveiled Vision Pro. This year, Apple changed all its software and forced it to look more united. This may not be such a big deal like the previous WBC BLDC, but if you hope that Apple will talk more about software and less about AI, it was your year. Instead of getting iOS 19, Apple released iOS 26. Generally, a new version of iOS comes out in the fall, but it can find small fretmen in the next spring and summer. Therefore, iOS 26 is a reference to the fact that it will receive minor updates during 2026.
The biggest update was not a change of iOS. It was a liquid glass, a design maintenance that adds transparency and aims to reduce disturbances. However, some people had a quick reaction Less than favorable In a new form. I see with what I see with liquid glass and look forward to testing it as part of the iOS 26 beta version. But the liquid glass did not hire me as much other features that Apple add to the iOS 26, as the camera app was re -designed.
This year’s WWDC’s theme is a consistency – consistency in terms of the overall experience of the Apple device owner. iOS 26 is an excellent example of this as it brings a sophisticated and modern feeling to the iPhone software.
Watch my iOS 26 video, in which I run you through all the big features in the new iOS and show you a little things (some may be a victim of abuse) about which I am excited about.
iOS 26 will start this fall this fall and is now available as developer. The public beta version will be available in July. You need iPhone 11 or more to use iOS 26. If you want to give it a spin before releasing it, I recommend that the public beta version wait and then not run it on your main iPhone.
