Samsung is working on its next foldable smartphone, and will be called the Galaxy Z Fold 7. The company has just touched the phone as “the thin, light and sophisticated foldable” yet, and an FCC listing is backing a claim that shows the Snapdragon 8 Elite Chip under the hood.
With this type of processing power, it can be the most powerful foldable smartphone ever to target the market.
FCC listing, which 91 Mobile Spotted, for the Samsung phone which has the model number SM-F966B. Based on Samsung’s model designated conventions and other leaks, it is definitely the international form of the Galaxy Z Fold 7. The list also shows the SM8750 SOC for the phone, which is a model of Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Chip.
This mainly confirms that the Snapdragon 8 elite chip will be present in the phone, but there is still a little possibility that the company can change the course or the model numbers may be wrong. Although we cannot say with 100 % convinces that the phone will come with a powerful chip, it is as close as we can.
Getting a phone certification from Samsung FCC shows that the company plans to launch it soon. Samsung is expected to host a packaged event in July, where the next phone has been officially announced, which features a large and light design.
The list also mentions 5G, Wi -Fi 7, Ultra -wide band (UWB), wireless charging, and wireless power sharing, as the next foldable (none of which is surprising).
