Matthew Bromberg recently targeted his birthday as the CEO of the Alliance. And at the moment, he is already overseeing a lot of changes in the famous game engine maker.
During the Games Bat Summit 2025 program in Los Angeles, Bromberg spoke to AP Tech journalist Sara Parveeni about her views about the industry and what has been in the coalition since joining the company in May 2024. At the time, the company had faced widespread reaction from progressives from its controversial prices (which caused a change in its controversial prices.
So far, Bromberg has been focusing on ensuring that the alliance can once again become a reliable partner for developers.
“Over the past one year, we are really working hard to continue to earn that confidence and this position and provide stable performance software, which helps people innovate,” said Bromberg. “And just focus on providing value and ensuring that our software is stable and we re -connect with our community and our customers. We got a little away from it.”
He said that everyone in the company has tried to spend more time with the community to meet their needs and see how they can add more prices to their engine tools. A section of the project is to associate with the AI -powered workflow in Alliance 6, which they hope will allow developers to spend more time in playing fast and more efficiently and innovation.
These AI tools will be introduced in the future Alliance 6.2 update.
“We are really trying to take some excellent generation products that are there, general AI products and others, and build them directly in the workflows of the editor of the Alliance so that you can stay in the context-AI is aware of your plan.” “You can live and work inside the windows in which you are working, and they are directly tied to your workfloose. And we are sure that this is the way through which these tools (through the industry) will be adopted more deeply.”

Based on its 25 -year career in making the game, Bromberg said he is confident that in the future, the “big majority” of game companies will use the use of AI tools to make more games.
“I believe that this is the main effect that will be AI (on development),” he said. “I think if we can make sports faster and more efficient, game companies will make more games, and they will have more time and cycles to spend on innovation.”
In the meantime, the Alliance hopes to modernize its game engine platform and make sure the developers are more comfortable with its use in both the future and the future. And it hopes that they will maintain strong links with their community by reached permanently.
Many users of the alliance are seeing these changes. In a call with the largest client in the coalition last week (one who has used his tools for more than 15 years), Bromberg said the man told him that he only feels “completely disappointing” about the company just a year ago. But their point of view slowly changed when the alliance began to listen to its developers and check with them.
The customer said that everything has now felt different, and that the company is moving a better direction than ever. Bromberg noted that when he joined the alliance in 2024, “Literally no one” was not saying such things.
“It looks like it’s a clear, and almost crazy, observed that if you stop asking people what they need, and then you carefully care about it, and then you work really hard inside your company to prefer these things, then it usually gets better?” Brumberg said. “(Not intended) to be perfect – try to get better every day, and so on organizations move forward.”
