Google Pixel is working on 10 smartphones – this is no secret, as the company usually follows the exact schedule of releases for its phones. What is surprising about the release of Pixel 10 is that the company has upgraded a significant display on its radar for the upcoming smartphone, which can change to improve some people’s lives, possibly helping Google maintain its space in the best smartphones list.
This has come out of a statement given to our friends Android CentralWhere Google said it was “aware and investigating” as its display PWM affects sensitive users. The company continued, “You can expect updates later this year.”
PWM (pulse width module) refers to dimming how OLED smartphone screens enhance display quality and understood brightness. Yes. This is useful on the technical level, but can cause Headache and other symptoms For those who are sensitive to dim and flickering.
Google Pixel phones have some low -end smartphones among the lowest PWM dimming rates (Plus width models). High -dimmed rates or flicker reduction options can help reduce these problems. However, Pixel phones do not present currently.
Google’s statement is ambiguous and clearly does not identify the Pixel 10 as a phone that will improve PWM. But seeing that this next phone is coming from Google, it would be understandable to get this device upgraded. If not, it may be Pixel 11, because Google may not be ready to remove display adjustments so quickly.
Either Avenue Google will prove to be a positive step for all users, not just those of us who have already become sensitive to the hard PWM dimming associated with some lights and display.
Nicholas Sutriich – Android Central
According to Android Central’s Nicolas Sutriich, who is suffering from PWN sensitivity, a phone needs to be offered 1920Hz or more to be comfortable. In a piece describing the potential screen upgrade of Pixel 10, Sutriich said, “I fully expect that the Pixel 10 will stick to either 240Hz PWM dumming or go to the Galaxy S24/S25 Ultra Route and upgrade to 480Hz as a default display setting.” Other brands such as Honor and OnePlus already offer high PWM dumming rates on their flagship phones like Magic 7 Pro and One Plus 13, but they do not send the same number that galaxies or pixels, especially in the US
Although it will improve compared to the current PWN dimming number, it may mean that Google needs to add a leakage of Flickr sensitive people that reduces the amount of display flicker-which includes other phones like Motorola Edge Plus, have been presented in the past.
Unfortunately, before we get more information, Google will have to wait until the Pixel 10 smartphones announced later this year. Nevertheless, it is nice to hear that PWM’s sensitivity is something that is familiar with Google and is considered.
