Closing her eyes, she entered her quiet places, feeling the pulse of ink. He saw a sunlight laughing in the kitchen, brushing his hands against each other, and raising a name on the air – his wife’s name, lost her failed mind.
Jane returned her memory like a lantern in the dark. It is not for grief, but because the world is staging together again.
