Nevertheless, Sims knew that there was a better way to train and hire TECHN technicians to enhance business, so once again they came out to perform: It founded the SSG Application Academy, which in 2019 is the main principle of training in the main principles of the main principles for the development of the equipment repair industry.

“I saw how to repair the equipment is the gift that keeps giving,” says Sims. “When you go out, when you fix something, it promotes you, every time you do it. It’s not a job. It’s a good job.”

When Sims came out on jobs with his daughter, he found out that there were many clients living in the house who breathed a sigh of relief when they realized that they would not be alone with the male worker. Knowing this, and seeing that the booster devices can be repaired in confidence, Sims committed to bringing more and more women into the industry.

Sims are looking forward to seeing more women taking advantage of the SSG Appliance Academy, despite the challenges that can come in space with a woman.

“You have to prove yourself (as a woman) in this industry, and not only to consumers,” says Sims. “You have to prove yourself in front of everyone who works in the industry.”
