- The Google app on Android can soon get some precise design opportunities.
- We have seen opportunities for the status bar, search progress bar, and below the tab bar in the beta release.
- The app can also find a new content to refresh the feed 3 expressing loading animation and a button.
The Google app on Android is ready to receive some visual changes according to the new Material 3 Expressive design language. We have seen these changes in the latest beta release (version 16.22.44), and this is the initial look at future design improvements.
A AP’s tears Helps predict the features that come in the future based on the code that progresses at work. However, it is possible that such predators do not make it public release.
From the top, the status bar in the Google app has received a parliamentary gradual background. This status bar gives another modern look and already is already alive in the bet. This is a very subtle change, and if you are using a dark theme on your phone, you may not even report it, but it is more clear when using the light theme.
The Google Progress Bar is also working on a minor adaptation that appears below the search bar when you find. The latest design is slightly thick and more round, as shown in the following screenshot.

Finally, the Google is updating the tabs scroll treatment at the bottom of the screen. Currently, the tabs are permanently visible when you scroll through the app. However, in the future release, Google intends to change this behavior and hide the tabs when you scroll through the feed.
The attached clip shows this new behavior and gives us a glimpse of the new content 3 expression loading animation that will appear when you reach the bottom of the feed. The clip also features a new “refresh” button that appears below the search bar when you scrutin through the feed, but does not work in the current beta release.
We expect these changes to come to the users in the coming days, and we will update this post as soon as we will be available widely.
