What encouraged you to make it?
I’ve been fortunate enough to work in multiple industries, some in big scales than others, something successful, nothing. I have worked in film, real estate, beverage, biootec, and investment, but golf has always been permanent for me. This is the place where I take things. Where I contact the people I love. Over the years, I have always found it difficult to find quality, active country club clothing. I noticed that the majority of the clothing wearing the course did not feel good. Many prints, cheap materials, fitted, or brands were trying a lot. There was no explosion – “a moment” – it was like a slow pace of frustration. Then one day, when I couldn’t get a single T -shirt or polo I wanted to wear, I thought, why can’t anyone get this right? Then I realized, I am someone … and like everything in life, if you want it to be fine, do it yourself. Blanco came from this place.

When I was getting ready to launch Blanco, I calculated how much personal cash I had in and how much I was about to spend to increase this brand. On the way I had a child, a very expensive lease for renewal, and a reefi that needs to be eliminated that will dramatically change my financial situation. I remember stay awake for the end day: What if I don’t even sell a pair of pants? What if anyone does not like this brand? If, if, if, what would happen if … but then he hit me: What if it all works? What if everyone loves this brand and you solve a problem for millions of people, and it leaves your wild dreams behind? I bowed down instead of thinking – and so far, it’s amazing.

How has the Strategic Partnership and brand ambassadors create the truth in your development?
I was recently asked a lot – perhaps because of the strong line -up of players and celebrities who join the Blanco team. But really, it all goes back to the idea of doing the best work you have. It started small. I approached my best friend, Ryan Filpepe, and asked for his thoughts. It helped me finalize the design and confirm what I am doing. When I developed more styles, I started arriving from other friends to assess feedback and interest. This was brought by boys like Danny Amidola, who have been an incredible partner since day one. Once I received this support, I knew I would have to invest seriously in the brand. Aesthetic people had to compete with the ability of the people who supported it – boys who have spent many years in building their identity and brands. The effort created the effect of the snoobal, which included the rest of the Blanco Roster – which included Wali Robertson and the actor and the Legend of the Country Club, Gallon Jerring. We soon have some big announcements.

What is your advice for traders who is looking for funding?
This is an important. Many traders believe they need funding and investors. You don’t If you don’t have people who will immediately support your idea, it means that you need to prove yourself. You do this by screaming and creative. You do your best with what you can get. You have to know how to make your business work, even if that means increasing revenue of $ 1,000 a month to prove the system. Then do better. Then on a scale. The pain and sacrifice that look great is an essential step. You have to be strong. You have to be prepared to advance your limits, keep your relief aside and overcome your biggest fear. You have to be ready to make great sacrifices. Not everyone has his stomach. When I was in my 20s, I failed. I didn’t understand how difficult you would have to fight. Stress and pain will change you permanently. But, once you cross this doorstep, you don’t have to look for capital – it will be looking for you. And when that happens, be careful and strategic about it when you take money – and most importantly, who do you take the money.

What does the word “business” mean for you?
I think businessmen should really understand that they control their reality. No one else does. Whatever your business you make will become. No one is going to do anything for you. Business, to me, is really the master of destiny.

Words of any kind of advice that you will read to a businessman?
One thing that is really stuck with me is: whatever you are not changing your life, you are choosing. This line changed my way of thinking and living. Change is restless, but this is the only way forward. If something is not working – your life, your habits, your mentality – you have to be held accountable. If you are not actively changing it, you are choosing it.
