How Building Gaming Tech attracted us to business development

They have their own opinions expressed by business partners.

Over the past decade, impossible and now with Somnia, I have worked to solve some of the most difficult problems in the new digital period. We have learned a lot from making large -scale multi -player video games, emerald virtual events and defensive simulations that they have approved me through Russia…

But in the process of making tools for Virtual Worlds, we found out something else: The infrastructure we needed for Metaware came out exactly what businessmen needed to work in the AI era.

Like many people, we also expected that interest in “Metawor” in 2021 would be an important point. However, we have been working in permanent virtual spaces since 2012. But as we joined in this issue, we realized that the infrastructure was not ready. Virtual Worlds, who allowed thousands of people to move freely in various platforms with their identity and assets, were not just possible with existing systems.

Blockchain, on paper, offer the correct components: the ability to build on the consumer ownership, decentralized control and combined standards of various developers. However, when we tried to use it for real -time interactions, it fell under weight. This system was very slow, very expensive and completely inappropriate for applications that needed reactions.

Imagine trying to play zoom calls where thousands of computers have to be confirmed before each video frame appears on the screen. At the same time we were dealing with.

Finally, we faced a choice. Either continue to build applications on infrastructure that cannot help them – or build yourself infrastructure. What we created, Somnia began as a need for gaming. But it has become a map for how the business will work in the future through artificial intelligence, digital identity and real -time interaction.

New demands of digital business

Three trends are colliding with how modern organizations work. First of all, AI is no longer just a chat boot. This is an actor. Agents operated by large language models are starting to participate in the digital ecosystem. In our testing, we have seen that AI agents produce thousands of transactions in just seconds through interaction with each other and with consumers.

Second, digital ownership is moving towards the mainstream with a particular crypto concern. People want to control their digital identities, property and reputation quickly – and they want these assets to be maintained and travel with them.

Third, business transaction is moving from focus -based models, where constant engagement in the digital environment operates loyalty and growth.

There was no infrastructure to support this gathering. Therefore, we have created a system that can process more than one million transactions at about 20,000 times per second from the traditional blockchain system. To present this in business: Imagine the difference between a corner store that can serve 50 users a day and the Walmart Super Center that can serve 50,000.

Beyond gaming: Business applications and cultural effects

Performance has the implications of the jump that are much higher than gaming and advance real business results. Retailers per update can track inventory changes in thousands of stores in real time for a portion of a penny. Manufacturers can create safe, certified supply chains that do not compromise at speed. Financial institutions can comply with both transparency and performance checks, verification of documents and action on settlements.

But big change is cultural. When the AI starts to automatically make usual tasks, we are entering what I call the “completed economy”. As mentioned in my book Virtual Society: New Frontiers of Metaware and Human experience. It’s not just about productivity. This is about meaning. People are looking for the purpose, community and creativity in the digital environment where they now spend only in the growing part of their lives.

AI helps to bear the savings of time and the burden of action, which allows us to focus our energy on more valuable activities. These environments are beyond fun. They are workplaces, cooperation, identity and economic activity. In many cases, AI agents will take part with us.

This is a strategic change of business, it offers a strategic change. When your users not only use your product but also cooperate and build your platform, your role changes. You are no longer just a provider. You are a host. Your brand becomes part of an ecosystem – which develops on participation, transportation and interaction. Support this shift requires infrastructure that can measure in real time, protect ownership in the environment and connect different platforms to a smooth experience.

What comes next?

Most business leaders are not thinking about thyups through blockchain, consensus algorithms or transactions – and they do not need it. The important thing is whether your company is ready for a world where humans as well as intelligent agents have a transaction, where consumers have a permanent digital identity among services and where engagement is in real time, not during the scheduled conversation.

The hype cycle may have passed around the metawar, but the vision of a joint, permanent, intelligent digital environment is far more relevant. What began as a solution to Virtual Worlds is now taking the groundwork for how businesses will provide a cohesive, AI-powered future in the future.
