There is no shortage of reasons for staying away from the meta environmental system, including Facebook and Instagram, but there are some places where WhatsApp is the main form of text -based communication. The app is a huge alternative to SMS, as it finally offers encryption and Apple was one of the ways to send irrelevant images and videos between the iPhone and Android users before adopting the RCS. Although Facebook, which later re -nominated Meta, obtained WhatsApp in 2014, it does not require a Facebook or Instagram account to go to WhatsApp – just a working phone number.
How to create a WhatsApp account without Facebook or Instagram
To start, you need to download WhatsApp on your smartphone. Once you open the app, you can start the registration process by entering the working phone number. After entering your phone number, you will find a unique six -digit code that will complete the registration process. From there, you can set up your contacts on your connected smartphone to develop your WhatsApp network, but you will not need to add Facebook or Instagram at any point.
As an alternative, you can request a voice call to provide a code instead. In any way, once you complete the registration process, you have a WhatsApp account that is not tied to a Facebook or Instagram account.
If you change your idea and want more cross -over between your meta -apps, you can go to the app settings panels to change it. In the settings, you can find an account center option with meta badges on it. Once you kill it, you will see options for “adding a Facebook account” and “adding an Instagram account. Adding these accounts means that the meta platform can offer more personal experiences because now because of personal data that is integrated.”
You can always remove your WhatsApp account from Meta’s Account Center to go back to the same settings panel. However, no joint information will be shared before, but after removing the account, Meta will stop combining any personal data.
