McMeni M4 is one of my favorite mini -PCs that I have yet reviewed thanks to the addition of Apple’s powerful M4 chips, with the fact that the base model McMoney now comes with 16 GB RAM. It is Apple’s smallest Mac 5 inches wide, 5 inches deep and 2 inches tall.
Unlike the previous version of Mac Money, Apple fully designed it from the beginning. In addition to the new M4 chip and RAM upgrade, the biggest change is that you now have two USB-C ports with headphones jack in front of the device. This means that whenever you want to plug in a new device or listen to music with a wired headphone, you don’t have to draw your computer out.
As someone who has reviewed a ton of mini -PC in the past few years, I really like how McMeni M4 does not have a big brick. Instead, it has an internal power supply and uses a standard power cable. In addition, MacCi M4 is so small that if you want to travel with it, it can easily fit into a bag.
Although it does not ship with Wi -Fi -7, it comes with Wi -Fi 6E on the board, which means you will be able to use a sharp 6GHz band on the best Wi -Fi 7 routers or one of the Wi -Fi 6 e -router. Mac Money M4 is also a good choice for multi -monitor setup as you also get three Thunderbolt 4 ports around the HDMI port. In my Mac Mini M4 review, I did it with three external display and even when you run all these extra pixels, it did not miss it.
Mac Money M4 is a huge step above MacMi M2, but it’s not perfect. It offers only 256GB storage on the base model and its power button is placed down the device, which means you have to lift the computer to turn it on. Fortunately, however, you can fix these two issues and add some USB-A ports such as USB Hub (currently on sale) Satechi Mac Mini M4 Hub, which I am currently using with my Mac Money.
If you are considering digging windows for Mac, but still want to use your current monitor, mouse and maybe even your keyboard, McMeni M4 Macs is the easiest (and the least expensive) method of trying for yourself.
