I fell into a scam of $ 1.25 million – now Mr. Best Scammers is helping me hunt

It is difficult to admit, but I was scandalized out of 25 1.25 million.

The money is over, and I can’t withdraw it. But instead of hiding, I have decided to share my story. My Recent post on x About $ 1.25 million scam went viral with more than 40 million opinions and thousands of posts and comments.

Mr Best even said that he would reward everyone, a reward of 000 100,000 that could help find the scammers.

Now that I have more time to take action on the situation, I think the time has come for me to share my $ 1.25 million mistaken lessons.

How did it start

A few years ago, I donated Milion 1.2 million to Mr Best’s #Tamus campaign to help clean the oceans. After the donation, I was invited to spend a few days with Jimmy (Mr. Best) and his team.

So, when he reached me again for a donation of Mr. Best’s team water campaign, I naturally wanted to help. During the debate, we even talked about another meeting plan.

A few weeks after donating Million 1 million to the project, I was added to it, which was looked like as a private group text with other major donors. It did not feel out of place at all. In fact, it looked like a natural next step.

This group looked legitimate. These names were inspiring: Mark Rober, Toby Lattle of Shapaf, Ed Crew of Stack, Eden Ross. There were banners, comfortable sound notes and even more about the donor trip. All this was standing with him I was expecting – and I felt like I was in the “cold sheep”.

Then pitch: A crypto investment is linked to a major exchange. Everyone in the group “joined.” I didn’t want to be external. So I wired the money. 25 1.25 million.

Later, I checked with the real Jimmy and felt my stomach. The group’s text was fake. My money was gone.

Lesson 1: Don’t make big decisions when you engage

When this scam was coming out, I was on a retreat that I was planning all year long. It was a terrible time for me, but it was best for scammers.

I was comfortable and fully in the wrong headspace for any major decisions. My guard was down, and I was the best target.

After that, after reviewing the text, I see several red flags that would make me pause any other day. However, I got involved and decided quickly.

Tip: Don’t make big decisions when you are engaged, trip or emotionally charged. Give yourself a place and energy to sit with the choice and just decide with a clear head.

Lesson 2: Listen to the truth, not the story you are listening to yourself

When I was added to the text group, I honestly wanted it to be real. I had previously talked to the Mr Best’s team about a trip plan, and my mind added to the dots, told me that this was part of the project.

This made me see the red flags. I didn’t confirm the phone numbers, and I didn’t double check anything. I trusted what I am Desired To be true instead of what the evidence revealed. I bid, and it costs me $ 1.25 million.

Sharing rejected the story. Able to solve a community problem from personal embarrassment.

Tip: Don’t hide from your mistakes. They are their own, talk about them, and turn them into lessons that others can learn.

I will never see the lost 25 1.25 million. But I can use it as the most expensive learning experience of my life.
