I recommend these 5 seasonal apps, but my favorite

Google Pixel 9 Pro Season

Ryan Hans / Android Authority

It is safe to say that almost every Android user has a weather app on his phone. I definitely do, and I use it to check it daily, not only for today but also for the rest of the week – this is part of my morning routine.

In search of the perfect seasonal app, I tried countless options and tell you that there are important differences between them. Some were full of advertising and popups, while others were poorly designed. After that there were people who were not very accurate in my place, and some even managed to bundle all these problems in one. Finally, I found some seasonal apps that I really like and can now recommend others. These are my first five.

Which of these weather apps do you prefer?

Pixel season

It’s my favorite so far, but it’s a pixel special, so it is not something everyone can download and use. I didn’t see any ad in the app – at least for now – and the design is beautiful. I get all the information I need on one page, including an hour’s report and 10 days predictions.

I can also see how much rain, wind speed and direction, UV index, air quality, and much more during the much rain (if any). Most of this data is useful to me, and I can customize its management on the screen, with less interesting information from below.

Then there is a map of the weather. This work is over, but this is probably my most favorite aspect of this app. This is not as accurate or good as I have tried by others, so I don’t use it as much as I want. Whenever I need to check the weather map, I switch to this list to the next app.

This app is far from perfect. Although it mostly provides data I need, the user can use the interface a little Polish. There are also a lot of ads scattered throughout the app, and it also includes a news section that shows me seasonal news for far -reaching places.

However, I still use it for an important reason: weather map. After trying a large number of apps, it works best in my location. I can see exactly when it will rain, and even more importantly, if the hail is coming. We get a lot of hails in the summer months, and I always need to be vigilant to ensure that I stand my car in the garage on time, as Ole can cause severe damage.

It is also great for snow, because I can check the snow estimates and quantities, or when the heavy snow that prevents me from going out will stop.

I used this app before switching to the pixel season and was real fond of it. It’s beautiful – easy and clean, subtle dynamic images and a pop of color to give it life.

I especially like the top picture, which looks like a sky in a particular place. Then I need all the details of the weather, some of which are well presented in brown squares, including information like moisture, maternal and UV index.

Here are an hour and weekly prediction, air quality information, a decent seasonal radar, and all other details you expect from such an. It has an advertisement section, but the ads have been well integrated into the design, so they are not as conflicting as with some competitors. In addition, out of the pixel season and something else, it is difficult to find a free app that has no ads.

It’s not as easy as today’s weather, but is still quite straightforward with an excellent design. I used it a little and I liked to see all the important data needed on a screen, though I needed an extra tap to reach specific information like the UV Index.

I really appreciate the animation for temperature, and the weather radar is decent. I also like it as an additional tap to watch the news and videos, so they do not disallow the main screen as with some other apps.

There are also important reports that appear in the upper part of the app, maximizing heat, heavy rainfall and similar conditions in the area. The app is free, and I have not faced any ad with it during my time, but a premium version is available that offers more detailed weather data.

This app is a bit different because it plays the front and center of the weather map. You can quickly replace it with temperatures to rain or other data with just one tap or two. The bottom of the screen has a sharp prediction of the weather that also shows how the weather changes on the radar when you switch between days or hours. It’s very clean.

Of course, the app also has all the standard features, such as a complete report of the weather for next week, potential rain, wind speed and more. However, you usually get more data with rival apps, so it’s really for people who enjoy seeing detailed weather maps.

The app is free, but a premium version is available. However, it does not offer much more than a free version, so I will recommend to remain with the free option.

These are the first five seasonal apps I have used and enjoyed, though there are many others that I have not yet experienced. Tell me what you use and why in comments.
