A few weeks ago, I shouted an open thread asking readers that they prefer to use YouTube music on many available alternatives, including my choice of service, spotifies. It would be a small thing to say that he was focused on comments and strong opinions from our society, which raises my views. With only less than 400 answers at the time of this writing, as well as not to mention the big win for Google’s streaming service in the polls, it is clear that I was probably losing a trick by siding with Spatifs. So, when I enjoy re -evaluating my opinion, I once again signed up for YouTube music to see if there was a riot. After a week, a little later, I am fully affected by the progress made by the Google offer.
I had been happy with Google Play Music for many years, and regularly defended the service when people recommended alternatives. But when Google announced the end of service in 2021, I was disappointed with its replacement. In the early days, the YouTube music was undeniable and its video hosting names were bent too much. When I wanted an audio first service, the video is often taken forward. It was also greatly affected by my YouTube browsing and watching habits, and was amazingly slow at work. In short, he suck, and I quickly jumped for spatifs.
Which is the best music streaming service?

The Green Team is the place where I still find myself, and since then I have been quite comfortable with it. The pair plan allows my partner and separate playlists with me and shared playlists, and supports real time through spots jams when needed. I also appreciate Spatif’s recommendations and ease of finding new artists. It fits my life perfectly.
Surprisingly positive return

So when I returned to YouTube music earlier this month, my system was shocked. A wave of old memories hit me when I fought some precious playlists about which I thought I had to manage my anxiety, from pop heavy riots to the sunny day, a prepared list of tracks that feel like a cool morning.
With more objective lenses, the app has changed so much from its early days. A tough, clean UI greeted me, loaded the front with playlists that I made or always choose artists and albums. There is an angle towards the already discovered content, which was a fresh change from Spatif, where my mission was to always find new songs, species, albums, and carefully prepared playlists. There is some comfort about using Google products, some practical and purpose.
I would admit that because of this approach, spots can sometimes feel scattered. Although YouTube music puts new materials and known or saved music in large -scale tabs or sensible filters, Spatif puts these cards on the home screen everywhere. At least this is the one that feels like weak. I can’t say that I prefer layout, but I would say that YouTube uses its screen space in almost all areas.
YouTube music promotes already discovered content, which was a refreshing change from the pushing of a permanent new material of spots.
What about the music playing experience? I quickly realize why many people like service, especially those who love deep deductions. The songs that I could not find on the spotifies found here, which usually form a video from YouTube. This included many long-lost EDM remix of the 2011-2012 era, such as remix of Weston’s Z. Taking advantage of the music service provides YouTube music to discover a huge content, and provides users to upload their content in service, even if it is a bit through the website, it makes it incredibly valuable to those who want to take their own basin content.

Dare to dare, I like the YouTube Music Explore tab more than the search tab of Spatif, even if both work as a portal in new content. Although Spatif has chosen a gender -ranked setting with the aforementioned the aforementioned the aforementioned, YouTube music lure me with his more analytical systems, which includes new artists’ releases that I have already followed and the breakdown of top tracks in my country. Once again, Google service uses far better the space available on this tab, switching between recommendations and real trending materials. It probably surprised me the most during my experience. Naturally, I have always considered Spatifs the best of these two, and, for the most part, I think the Swedish app offers a better hand -off experience in this regard. But if you are slowly turning through vinyls on Saturday morning, I can appreciate the charm of YouTube music here.
In four years, when I last used YouTube music, I am surprised to find out how many elements Google has polished.
My colleague also mentioned another important point: Some artists still boycott spots. She was happy to participate in the experience, as Spatif does not host the music of Joannia, while YouTube does. It is important that if you are more obvious or fans of voters who do not appreciate the latter financial model.
All of them, YouTube music has a lot to do. In four years of the last time I used the service, I am surprised to find out how many elements Google has polished. However, this is a Google Product after all, and some prices have largely ruined its positive brightness.
Google still has to work

Remember when I said that YouTube music uses my name to enhance the availability of music? Well, it has some side effects. I can’t help but took notice of YouTube music, which contains a list of a video playlist of the Kart/Champor Race that extends from 1979 to 2007. There is no track in this playlist, though the sound of the engine can be considered music for some people. So why is there a video playlist in my music streaming app? In the early 2020s, I had the main reason for leaving YouTube music, and it seems that Google has not yet drawn the line between playlists on both services.
There are some more strange additions that I wish to be revised on Google. Although the comments feature is excellent in theory, the remarks left by users usually do not offer any insights on the track. It feels like a YouTube comment section, which is not a good look. I am not a fan of the YouTube music samples tab. Although Spatifs are slowly turning to music videos, it is little interference. Dedicating a whole tab for music videos on the audio streaming platform seems contradictory.
There are some problems that YouTube music is still not shaken, and the stupid promotion of its video is one of them.
But let’s get back to the spotifies. There are a handful of features that still sell me. As I mentioned earlier, Spatif jam is essential in my daily life. When I and I often listen to music when working, cooking or driving. Therefore, it is invaluable to add individual songs to the playlist row without interruption. More importantly, this feature has also added to the Android Auto, which makes it easier for road travel and easier to manage. YouTube music does not offer any equal.
Then there are modern spots of Spatifs. Google, Google, Search Dev, Google does not know how to implement a smart search in this product. I can find artist releases in a specific year using syntax in Spatifs. YouTube does not do music.
Of course, Spatif Connect is another unavoidable feature I use on my PS4 daily. I can control the music on my phone while enjoying both the game audio and my spatial playlist, and then leave this music without interruption on my nest semen when I put the controller down. YouTube music doesn’t have this option, so it’s either a game chat or music for me.
I am sticking with spathephs for now

Although many readers believed that I was biased against YouTube music, I went into this experience openly. Google’s service has really affected me by focusing on my clean UI, modern use of space, very broader library, and hand -on discourse. However, initially there are some problems that close me from the service.
There are other practical issues I have not yet mentioned, one of them is the price. YouTube music is not equal to the pair, so I need to buy the whole family package to share the service with my partner. Although the spatif is only more expensive than the pair, it is still a waste of money.
YouTube music can make me a fan in the future, but Spatif is a better fit … for now.
Of course, the spots win on other fronts. As mentioned, jam and connects have two unique features that YouTube music has not yet competed despite Google’s skills in Smart Home and Service Space. The Swedish service is even widely available and compatible with the devices I already use and own, while it also offers the best fit plan for my lifestyle.
This does not mean that YouTube is a music trash. I will give Google its deserving equipment: This is an excellent music streaming platform, but these are the small things that offer spatifies that I have become accustomed to and I cannot live without it. Nevertheless, I can now understand why many YouTube music fans are, even if they are still slightly less for me.
