Hey all! 👋 I am a creator Smoker track.
I built it because I was disappointed with the current babe tracking apps. They were either adorned with advertising, their main features were locked behind Paywalls, or I was constantly trying to sell products that I didn’t need.
When our son was born, we needed something simple that his grandparents could really use to help care. Most apps need to download something or create accounts that were non -starter for our 70 -year -old parents! We also had a nanny access app, but after that didn’t work, I was able to disable his account quickly.
Grandma thought it was easy to use the app. They liked they didn’t need any other app on their phone, and before we left it for work before they could walk with her morning routine!
When you make the app, I wanted three things:
Easy communication – What happened to the day without playing a phone tag
Pediatory simple visits – Answer “How often does he eat or pope?” Without scrubbing through the chart and graph
Quick logging – Add entries from any device in seconds
Cross family care was the most important for our son and family communication improved dramatically. Grandparents can and help with obstacles without a tech. And the visits to our specialist pediatrics are very smooth – I can answer every question they ask immediately.
I have kept it on the web so it works on any device, plain ID/Pin sharing is added so no one needs accounts, and the basic features have been focused on the new parents.
Would love to hear your thoughts and feedback! I don’t know that not everyone would like it is not a phone app, and it’s fine.
