Dan Boo: Please give us oh Norman lift pitch!
Katie Hunt: Oh Norman! Healthy AF products that return. Our products are sustainable, moral, approved by doctors and all natural. These are the things Kelly and I wanted for my dogs but were not getting in the market, so we decided that we have to do it ourselves.
Did you know about making a dog food before going down this road?
Not at all, and I really think that when you do not have prejudice, there is an incredible opportunity. When you don’t know what you can’t do, sometimes you try things differently. That bid allows you to take the maximum risk, which was great for us with Oh Norman! It does not always pay. I was one of the founders of the showfields. We had five places on a scale, and we were working with thousands of direct consumer business before the Coid hit. And what you do not know is how difficult it is to run a physical place. If I can go back on time, I do another business directly with consumers and open a physical space. It was an epic failed. But everyone needs, though.

How did you fight this failure?
At that time, he was heartbroken. You are putting your time and effort to grow bigger than you. I was 36, single, and could no longer bear my fare in New York. I went home with my mother and father on the island of Rhod. And I had this moment “This is the one that makes the epic failure really look like.” Losing business, losing an apartment, losing their lives was difficult. And this was the best thing ever with me.
How?
For the first time in a very long time, I was really happy with my life being slightly slow. It was forced me, but I was running away for a million miles so long that when I was finally forced to slow down, I thought it would make me crazy. I thought I’m going to be very bored. But in fact, I was like, “Oh, wow. I’m missing many things that other people are doing. I’m working now. These are the other aspects of life.” So I had where I had to reflect before meeting Kelly and starting with Oh Norman! I was able to think about that I would look like my life if I was back to startup again.
How did you and Kelly contact?
She wanted to start a business, and she placed her team in the responsibility of finding people who might be able to help her. And so I got a LinkedIn message that was something like, “Have you ever thought of a co -founder of a celebrity company?” It felt like a joke to get this message, but I replied and finally found out that on the other side was Kelly Coco. Now he is one of the most paid actors ever. Made it like billions Big Bang Theory. It does not need to have a company in any way, shape or shape, but it has more than 200 rescue animals with rescue form. This is its original passion in life. She wanted to build a company that would return from the first day. And so when I met him and he told me all the work he wanted to do, it was just like a light bulb that went for me. I thought, “This person is exactly what they say they are.” I think what this agreement has been sealed for us is that we are just two of the two people who save the elderly. Both of us love these smelly, tooth -free dogs, and we think they are perfectly beautiful!

Where did the name come from?
Norman Kelly’s first rescue dog. This whole company is dedicated to Norman. “What will Norman do?” Like our morals. What would you like if you could imagine the construction of a company where a dog has founded it? You will make sure what you are preparing is in a sustainable packaging. You will make sure that everyone, from the end to the end, touches the product, is morally treated and paid fairly. And you will use all the natural ingredients. You will never use anything that hurt an animal. It is shattered in DNA because that’s what Norman wants.
For those who are thinking about starting their thing, what is your advice on top?
There are incredible communities in which you can tap – Reddate, your friend – where you can put ideas and get feedback. Don’t make space and do not try perfection. Go there with dirty ideas. You don’t know what you don’t know. I think many traders have wasted time and money before they are trying to get something perfect before they get an opinion on it. And then it’s too late. They lost a lot of time and money to repeat.
How was you running by getting an impression?
Before we ever create a product, we formed a community. And look, we have a very unfair competitive advantage with Kelly – before we have dropped a product. But because we tried so much time and effort to create this community earlier, the reason was that we went to them with the never ending questions. What is the problem with your dog? What will you change? Which dog does not taste your dog? You will assume that you know the answer to these things, but we have revealed a lot of data we did not expect, and this has led to our roadmap.
Important Question for You: Dog people vs Killy, who’s better?
Oh my gosh I had cats, and I had dogs, but I’m a dog person. I spent 15 years chasing my cat and trying to sit in my lap. And I spent the last 15 years trying to remove my dogs from my lap because they are there permanently. I like to chase (Laughs,
