Only one person was about to understand it. His name was Jane.
Jane was known as the mark weaver. It has no desk in the municipal system, the library card, nor any record. Still, she knew every archive that was erased, every Sigel is removed from institutional memory. Its role was not just to preserve the history, but now the fabric was to sew the signs.

Outside, the tapestry once again disappeared in blurry. No one saw him shining. But somewhere, on the edge of knowing, Jane added another mark in her book.
