NASA’s IMAP Space Ship for the mission to find the edge of the solar system

by SkillAiNest

NASA’s inter -stealler mapping and Exception Investigation (IMAP) have begun to be prepared for launch. It was removed from its shipping container on Thursday, May 29, after moving from the plane to the High Bay at the Estro Tech Space Operations Facility near the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The purpose is to study the limits of the solar system and how the solar air interacts with the interstitial space. This mission launch complex is targeting the launch before September 2025.

About the new mission

According to NASA’s blogIMAP Mission will rotate the sun in a place called Lagrange point 1 (L1), which is a million miles from the earth to the sun. From this place, the IMAP can measure the local solar air and scan the helicopter without the background of the planets and their magnetic fields. The spacecraft will use 10 scientific devices to study and create helicopter spare, which is a wide magnetic bubble around the sun that protects our solar system. As a modern -day space cartographer, the IMAP will increase our understanding of helicopter and contribute to the precious insights in the prediction of the space weather.

At NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center, the IMAP went through the thermal vacuum testing in the X -ray and crewsenic facility, which imitates severe conditions and dramatic temperature changes to imitate the environment while traveling to the sun.

To preparations before launch

NASA technicians will now start loading the IMAP spacecraft with the property. It will be connected with two additional satellites: Kerothors follow the Geocorona Observatory and Noaa Space Season L1. The three spacecraft will be folded together within the safety pay loadfering. Technicians will then arrive in the NASA Kennedy hanger to the Incopped spacecraft, where the team will connect the spacecraft with its Space X -Falcon 9 rockets.

IMAP NASA’s solar probe program is the fifth mission of Portfolio. It is led by Princeon University professor David Jay McCamas with an international team of 25 partners. The spacecraft was built and operated from Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory.
