High -speed NBN contacts are getting a huge promotion in September, with NBN 500, 750 and 2000 projects running, but they are not just reaching turbo charged heights in the spring.
According to the opticum The latest report of wholesalePrivate fiber providers have revealed the prices of three new speed tires according to NBN. These new levels – 500/50Mbps, 750/50Mbps, and 1000/100Mbps – will be available from September 1, 2025.
Opticom runs one of Australia’s largest private fiber networks, which provides contacts to select apartment complexes and newly constructed homes in the metro cities. Opticum speed tires are similar to NBN, best opticum providers offer 25 Mbps to 1,000 Mbps.
The infrastructure provider has not publicly described its speed, or whether current projects will experience 3-5x speed boost, such as NBN 100 and NBN 250. However, pricing is similar to NBN’s coming levels.
According to NBN Sao tariff list100/20Mbps projects cost AU $ 58.53p/m, 250/25Mbps projects cost AU $ 63.93p/m and 500-1000Mbps projects cost AU $ 73.93p/m. All grades come with a withdrawal of speed increase on September 14, 2025, which increases 100 MBPS 500/50Mbps, 250Mbps 750Mbps and 500-1000Mbps at least 1000/100Mbps.
About the wholesale prices of opticum, 100/20Mbps will currently cost AU $ 70.23p/m, 500/50Mbps cost AU $ 71.03p/m, 750/50 cost AU $ 83.38p/m and 1000/100 cost AU $ 87.85p/m. The latest ultraviolet tariff cost is like the current 1000/50 degree, but will provide double uploaded speed to consumers.
What does this mean for your opticum connection?
Unlike NBN’s equals, Opticum has not confirmed whether new levels will face automatic speeds in the current 100/20 and 250/25 projects, or if existing users will need to sign up for a new project to speed up fast. However, the table shows that high -speed projects will be at least at the wholesale level than current levels.
Therefore, if the wholesale pricing is left, if you are on the Opticom 100/20 project, you can pay almost SAME to increase your connection from 500/50Mbps in September. Right now, the 100/20 projects currently on average AU $ 95.32p/m, and if ISPs determine wholesale pricing, when you get 500Mbps available, you can pay more than AU $ 24.29p/M for 100 MBPS plan.
Now, all of this depends on your chosen ISP, but if we see the initial authorities of NBN 500 projects, for example, the average price is around $ 85p/m. Compared, the NBN 100 plan is more than just AU $ 93p/M – this is a huge difference of approximately AU $ 9p/M.
Opticum 500 is not a direct comparison of prices, as the first launch projects have not yet begun. However, considering the higher average, we can reasonably expect that the difference will be much higher.
As a person with an opticum connection at home, it is worth noting that some features may have infrastructure limits, which you can achieve this pace at home. Lip of my address, I can only order 100 MBPS projects, but it may not be for every opticum connection and can change in September. We recommend contact your preferred provider before ordering a high -speed plan to ensure that your property can reach megabits.
