I was massively annoyed with multiple AI coding subscriptions, so I created a single subscription that covers everything.
problem:
You are building a side project. You want the best model for the job: perhaps the GLM-5 for quick tasks, the MiniMax M2.7 for heavy front-end UI tasks, or the all-inclusive, expensive Cloudcode subscription. So you start looking at providers. Some are $10/mo, some are $15, some are $25. You don’t even know which one suits your coding style. You pick one, run out of quota halfway through your project or hit rate caps early, and now you’re signing up for another. And even with all these expenses, you cannot completely complete your project on a single project.
Then there’s the flip side: if you want AI in your actual product, you’re dealing with separate API keys, pay-as-you-go billing that escalates quickly, or free tiers with response times so slow they’re unusable.
What I Made:
OpenAdapter (openadapter.dev). An OpenAI-compliant endpoint facing multiple open-source SOTA models across 10+ providers.
You set up your editor once, opencode, cloudcode, cursor, windsurf, cline, adder, whatever you use, and you’re set. Change models from the dashboard, not from your configuration files. (Some editors still require a configuration change for the model name, but the base URL remains the same.
Start a flat subscription for free. New models are added on day-0.
Result:
You stop thinking about which subscription to buy and just create. Switch between Minimax, DeepSeek, Qwen, Kimi, Mistral, and GLM mid-session.
