Equ Hyers feels as if they are here to stay here: Alex’s team, a popular tool that allows developers to use the AI model in Apple’s Development Sweet X code, is joining the Open.
A Post On X, Alex’s founder Daniel Address said that the Startup team was joining the Openi Codex Division, building the company’s AI coding agent.
Y -Combinator -backed Alex’s base was laid in 2024 And tried to integrate AI models into the X code. Apple, however, was updated earlier this year to tap the chat GPT and other AI model without the need for external tools. Addresses did not mention what was the reason why his startup team had joined the open.
Addressers wrote in their post, “When we started, the X -code had no AI.” The cursor for the X -code “seemed crazy, but we managed to do it anyway. And, over time, we made the best coding agent for iOS and Macos apps.
In a post on Alex BlogStartup said it would continue to support current users, though the app will no longer be downloaded after October 1st. The company noted that the team would not add new features to the device, but as long as the current consumers are using it, it will maintain its product.
Alex’s Y Combanes Listing noted that three people were working on the coding tool in the startup. It is unclear if all these employees are joining the open AI.
