The founder faces criminal charges in France and is accused of failing to a moderate telegram properly to reduce criminal activity. Law enforcement says the app has helped the spread of drug trafficking, fraud and child sexual abuse content. Dobrov described the allegations “fully ridiculous” and told Le Point“Just because the culprits use our messaging service in many other people who do not make it criminals.”
