“Samsung managed to strengthen its market leadership and improve the market overall to achieve strong growth in the quarter of its new Galaxy A36 and A56 products,” said Francisco Jeronimo, vice president of client devices in the IDC. “These new products introduce AI-capable features to medium-sized devices, which have been effectively used in retail stores to run sales.”
Starting at $ 400, the Galaxy A36 offers a more affordable admission to AI for many people, which includes AI -powered photo editing tools and Google’s Circle.
A recent CNET survey found that only 11 % of people upgrade their phone for AI features. However, the survey also found that the price is the largest driver (62 %), which means that new features can be charming enough to jump.
