by SkillAiNest

The WhatsApp is said to be developing a new feature for its iOS app, which aims to facilitate the ability to handle multiple accounts on an iPhone. Earlier this year, the Meta -owned Instant Messaging Platform was told that IOS was working on multi -account support for devices. Based on this, a feature tracker claims that the WhatsApp will add a new section to the Settings for the iOS, which shows all these accounts signing to the iPhone and will switch to them quickly.

Switching between multiple accounts on WhatsApp

According to the WhatsApp feature tracker Wabitinpho, Meta Platforms, is developing a multi -account feature for release on the next version of the client app. It was viewed on the WhatsApp for the iOS beta app version 25.19.10.74. After its introduction, this feature is speculated that users on the iPhone will change rapidly between different accounts, personal or business.

The accompanying screenshot suggests that WhatsApp will add a new Account list Page in Settings. It is said that it works as the main center for management of multiple accounts on the device. Users are expected to add or remove the accounts, easily identify their profile image and status, and switch between them – all this from the account list page.

When the user chooses a specific account, the WhatsApp will load the chat date connected to it, and change the settings and preferences. According to the feature tracker, it includes auto download setting, notification tone, and backup preferences. Further, the WhatsApp or app is not required to switch between accounts.

In addition, the quick messaging platform is also said to be developing a new method of handling information in several accounts on the same device. When the user receives any information from the secondary account when the primary account is logged in, WhatsApp will allegedly disclose the name of the sender with the account name. Taping the notification will automatically convert the WhatsApp into a secondary account and related conversation.

According to Wabitinfo, these two features are still in development and are not available, even the Apple test flight program registered beta testers.
