Artificial power goes back on what the AI now calls “huge failed” fiction, and argues that AI companies are putting billions in large -scale computer infrastructure and basic models, often with government assistance, despite the implications of business models and limited public accountability.
Before 2030 it is attracted to measurement and reaching AGI, or artificial general intelligence, it has the consequences of the real world that do not disappear from the promises that AI will solve the most difficult problems of humanity someday. In the short term, societies are already facing environmental decline, discrimination algorithm, eliminated democratic institutions, lack of privacy, and national security threat.
Cock and the West say these results are the result of a series of selection, not an unexpected fact.
“The future we are selling is not inevitable,” Kock explained.
