The world loves AI. About 1 billion people Open products are using – and this happened in just two years. This Silicon Valley Playbok is: Make it great, make it cheap, make us addicted, then find out how to make billions.

We love AI because it offers a whole new scale academic shortcut. But… it will not end for most of us. We will allow Ai to handle some work, and soon know that it is doing all. We will lose our minds, our jobs and our opportunities.

But there is no need to do so. This is how to look forward – and take a different way.

The beginning of the end

In March 2023, I first used Chat GPT. Now I use a chatgott or cloud every day. AI has made my mental work fast and more productive. But I too am slowly slowly.

The next step of the AI is here – are you ready? Block, GSK, and SAP leaders include for a special look on how autonomous agents are changing enterprise workflows-from real time decision-making to end to automation.

Now secure your place – space is limited:

I had to check AI’s drafts well. But now, it gives me a good draft of 90 % of the time, and I’m encouraging to check its work.

A year ago, I thought the manpower would be divided into “people who do not use AI” and “which”. Now I see it’s wrong. In five years, everyone will use AI. The real division will be among those who manage their AIS – and those who take their thinking out of it.

Outsourcing How does our thinking reduce

Humans have always offloaded academic work. Before the books, the boards memorized the entire Eliad of Homer. Now technology is an extension of our brains, which enables us to take mathematics, navigation and notes.
AI is different. It can handle almost any academic work, and it feels fruitful. So AI outsourcing begins with innocence. You ask AI to draft an email. It does it well and saves you 10 minutes. Next, you ask him to outline a presentation. It gives her nails.

You begin to use it for more complicated tasks, such as setting strategies. You start to depend on AI to do the work, and slowly, atrophy of your skill.

Microsoft and Carnegie Melin Issued a paper Discovering General AI can reduce our critical thinking ability. When knowledge workers trust AI’s output, they are less likely to use their brain.

People who trust the AI (like me) rely on themselves to become a checker. But there are two issues with: 1) We Promote our capacity Identifying AI’s mistakes, and 2) The temptation to leave the facts is strengthened.

AI Driver vs. Passenger

In the next 10 years, the workforce of knowledge will be divided into two groups: AI driver and AI passenger.

O i passenger Equivalent Helps hand over their academic work to AI. They will indicate the chat GPT, copy the results and present it on their own.

The short term, will be rewarded for doing faster. But since the AI works with less human surveillance, passengers will be considered extra to include anything in the AI output.

AI driver Will insist on directing AI. They will use AI as a draft first and strictly test its work. And they will sometimes close it and make time to think.

The long -term, the economic division between these groups will expand dramatically. The AI drivers will claim an irrelevant part of the wealth, while the passengers are changing.

How to be AI driver

Make yourself a boss of AI in these ways:

  1. Start with what you know. Use AI in areas where you have a pre -existing skill. Criticize its production.
  2. Talk instead of asking for an answer. Don’t ask AI, “What should we do with our marketing budget?” Discuss AI’s obstacles, inputs, powers and so on.
  3. Become a hyper wise. Be an active partner. Do not suppose the production is good. Challenge yourself to challenge yourself, ”Is This is a good recommendation?
  4. Follow active doubts. Invest the AI permanently with your point of view. “Is this not diminishing the risk of the project?”
  5. Resist every first draft outsourcing. The empty page is terrible, but it is very important to activate your brain.
  6. Make a final call, and own it. The AI should help you with a mid -sized decision, but it does not make a final call. As a man, he owns his decisions.

Your mind is a terrible thing to waste

With AI, you now have a thought partner who is available 24/7 and “skills” on any title.

But you are also at a crossroads. You are going to get out of “active thinking” and outsource your decision -making to AI. Many people will not even realize that their academic skills have not done atrophified unless it is. And by then, it will be difficult to go back.

Don’t be this person. Use AI to challenge and strengthen your thinking, do not change it.

The question is not, “Will you use AI?” The question is, “What kind of AI user do you want to be: driver or passenger?”
