Why did Paradim create a spreadsheet with an AI agent in each cell?

by SkillAiNest

Anna Monaco was already one thing before the term “AI agents” before the construction of AI agents. After making numerous chat boats, he started searching for another type of interface, which created a feeling for AI agents and went down on the spreadsheet.

Monaco told Tech Crunch, “I had this personal model, and I felt that many other people had this sample, in which the most important CRM data was placed in the spreadsheet just because it was the most flexible thing.” “But there was a problem in reality. It involves a lot of manual work. So (i) just went down from this rabbit hole to make a product for himself and wanted to re -imagine that LLM could look like a spreadsheet with full force.”

Was the result ExampleAI -powered AI -powered Spreadsheet, with more than 5,000 AI agents. Users can assign different indicators to individual columns and cells, and individual AI agents will ring the Internet to find and fill the required information.

Monaco said Paradim works with Anthropic, Openi, and Google’s Gemini AI models, and supports the model switching.

“We want to support every model because we want our users to get the most output of the most reasoning when needed, but also the cheapest results,” Monaco said. “This is just a permanent cycle of evaluating different models, working with the model providers to ensure that our boundaries are quite high, and then provide our customers with some of this power.”

The company launched a small closed beta preview at the end of 2024 and is repeating the product using customer views. Paradim attracts users from advisors to sales professionals and finance people and works on a subscription model based on use. Paradim has counted the Firm Wi, AI Chip Startup Anchid, and AI Codeing Company as an early consumer.

Paradim is now issuing its products to the public and announcing that it has collected a millions of seeds of 5 million under the leadership of General Catalist. The company has raised $ 7 million to date. Monaco said the fund would go to the company’s “highly aggressive product roadmap”.

“Interestingly, when we were offered with the fund, are some people whom we have just used and pay,” said Monaco. “I think this was a cold part of it. We got a lot of value internally and from our investors, even our investors – not even with other investors we have talked – are still using it.”

Paradim is not the only company that wants to give AI upgrade to the Spreadsheet. The quadratic, which has collected more than 6 million millions in the Venture Fund, is a 3 -year -old start with a similar purpose. Legacy companies like Google and Microsoft are also adding AI tools to their spreadsheet applications.

Monaco said she doesn’t really consider the competition because Paradim does not think of herself as an AI -powered spreadsheet. She said she considers it as a new AI -driven workflower, which is in the familiarity of the spreadsheet but does not necessarily have been like this forever.

“Now the most popular AI products I see in the product, this is a good balance between the present and the future,” Monaco said. “How do you create something that is really powerful and now produces a lot of price but also makes you really better for the future? This is the question I was starting a year ago when I asked myself.”
