Why the best leaders don’t scream out loud

by SkillAiNest

They have their own opinions expressed by business partners.

Are you a Wazir of Oz or Great Gatesbi? Behind the curtain or in front of the crowd?

When I ask them this, most of the founders stop. Something dizziness. All of them get it.

Initially, you have to be both.

You are pulling strings and selling shows. But finally, the lines are blurred. And your genes (and even more importantly is that your blind spots) must know.

Whenever I meet an early stage, I am looking for two things: self -awareness and explanation. Not just “what your product is” or “how big your market is,” I want to know if they really have taken time to learn themselves.

I have learned my strength and weaknesses in the past years. It is one of the best things that the founder can do for himself (and their investors). It’s not glamorous, but this is the work that goes on.

The quick confession that you are not good at, faster you can create a company that does not depend on everything on you. A business is an orchestra. A founder is a console.

The conductor knows the note. They don’t play them all.

The conductor is not guessing there. They know the music. They have studied every device. They could jump and play. But they do not. Their job is to guide performance.

This is the case for the founders. How do you know the code? Sell Market Funds. But that does not mean that you should do all this forever. You should not have the Solo Act.

You are the one who is setting the tempo and keeps the vision clear. Ensure that everyone is hit by their mark. If you are a smart person in every room, you have stopped growing. Get the services of people who play better than your share. Then trust them.

Startups do not die due to stirring. They die from a lack of harmony. Leadership is not about control. It’s about harmony.

Music is not just a sound. This is a story.

My company is named after Van Morrison and Bob Siger. My daughters are named after Phil Collins and Don Henley.

Music has always been personal to me. This is not just what I hear. How do I guide Every album tells a story. Every track has a truth. Music is to tell the story. Each song is a snapshot. The same thought of frozen in a moment.

Yet somehow, millions of people hear the same song and make it their own.

This is the leadership.

You don’t have to scream out loud. You need to say something real. The best founders do not just make companies. They write stories that people want to be part. One of the reasons is that some brands have fans of a lifetime and forget in the other six months.

This is not about advertising costs. It’s about resonance.

My favorite thing about music?

Music is great. You step into a concert, and everyone else is gone.

You are not CEO. Not a parent. What is not going to resonate with you. You are just one person in the crowd, feeling something.

It doesn’t matter who you worship or what you believe. When the lights are reduced and the music is hit, you are part of something bigger. Chai? Surely the truth? Certainly

Which applies directly to the business. Make something that belongs to people. Make something they can feel. Guide it to bring people along. In this way you create loyalty to the brand, not with transactions, but with change.

Don’t confuse the spotlight with sound

You have to make some decisions soon: Do you want attention, or do you want to have an effect?

Both are possible. But chasing one often kills the other.

The conductor is not higher than the orchestra. He does not have a hand in the front and center, outside the chest, in the air. He exists. It was left in it. He guides from where he needs the most.

Also with the great founders.

You don’t need to be loud in the room. You just need to know how to guide. The right tempo is quiet confidence. It’s not about being seen. It’s about feeling.

No one remembers perfectly. They remember the powerful.

Have you ever missed a concert and missed a key note? Didn’t think so.

You remember emotions. Silence before defeating. People do not follow you because you are perfect. They follow you because you make them feel something. If your team trusts you, if your brand is rhythm, if your vision forces people to stop and listen, you have already won.

The founders who obsession with perfection make the point. People are connected with real. Not practiced.

The founders who succeed do not try to play every character. They run. They know the song. They make the team. They guide energy. They guide them so that others can perform.

You don’t have to live everywhere. You need to be in sync.

Great Gatesby or Wisdom of Oz? A little bit of both? In any way, when it comes to balance in the pit, in the pit or on the stage, work well.
