A few years ago, the idea of seeing yourself AI-generation image may have felt upset. There is something unusual about the idea of a machine that translates to your face, and turns it into something else. Would it feel very artificial? Is far from the truth?
But then I tried it once – and he completely changed my point of view.
I had recently used an app Pixnova AiWhich allows you to transform your image into various artistic style-mobile phones, 3D cartoons, toy data, or even handmade portraits. I uploaded a picture, chose a style, and in seconds, I saw a version of “Me” as if it looked as if it had been straightened from a movie or a comedy.
My surprise is that, it didn’t feel strange at all. He felt fun. Creative. Even a little impressive.
It was not just a filter or a trick – it was like to see yourself in a new world, through a new lens. Not RealJust… more imaginary. One of my versions that can be present in a story, game, or dream.
Of course, AI raises the right questions – about consent, data and identity. But in this case, I felt completely under control. It was a playful experience, and the output felt like a co -operation between me and the machine. Nothing for fear, but something to discover.
At a time when the digital self-expression is present everywhere, it may not be replaced by the AI-who we are-perhaps it is only increasing the methods we can see.
So, I no longer feel anxious to see my own generating version. In fact, I love it.
