Apple announced Monday 26 in its worldwide developers conference (WWDC) 2025. The “largest iPados Release so far”, the new iPad operating system updates introduces a visual correction according to the new liquid glass design language. Registered Apple developers can download developer beta updates starting today, with the availability of public beta next month.
Announcing the update, Craig Federigi, Senior Vice President of Software Engineering in Apple, said, “The iPados 26 is the largest iPados release so far, which has powerful features that take the experience to the next level and what users can do on the iPad.”
Like visual changes to iOS 26, iPados brings a new user interface design with 26 liquid glasses.
