If you have a Samsung phone, it’s a good chance that you have chosen it compared to the Android Handsets that allow Samsung to play with you. Whether it has half a dozen ways to take a screenshot or develop a powerful automation system with Samsung routines, there is no shortage of ways to benefit the Samsung Galaxy phone.

Although Samsung makes some of these things easily available and easy to find, but other features of the software are very few – some are completely invisible until you know where to see where.

An example of this is the “Connectivity Labs” Wi -Fi Settings menu. This is deep buried in the settings app on your Samsung phone, and this is something I didn’t know about the other day. Which is a shame, because there are some really cool things here. I show you

Do you know about Samsung’s contact labs?

Contact labs are toggles on the Samsung phone.

So, where is this hidden Wi -Fi settings menu? How to find it and activate it is:

  1. Open Settings app On your Samsung phone.
  2. Tap Link.
  3. Tap Wi-fi.
  4. Tap Three dots In the upper right corner.
  5. Tap Intelligent WiFi.

From this page, find out Intelligent WiFi Tap the button below and repeatedly. You will see a popup that you know that if you keep taping, the contact labs will be enabled, so keep doing so until you see new. Labs of contact The option appears under intelligent Wi -Fi.

I have confirmed that the connectivity labs are available on Samsung phones a UI 7 and a UI 8 beta running. Given that the Connectivity Labs were introduced in 2023, it should also be present on the Samsung phone, which is still an UI 6.

Once the contact labs are enabled, you will find a way for new settings to play with it. The page starts showing your Wi -Fi time and use graph over the past week, including what specific bands you were using. It’s clean, but there are more interesting things to check.

Scroll this graph in the past, and you will be meeting with the Settings and Toggle Laundry list. You can play with them all if you want, but I want to highlight some of my favorite.

First option in the list, Home WiFi inspectionEspecially cool. Once you choose it and tap on your home’s Wi -Fi network, you are asked to walk around your home while this feature tests all the different access points and bands of your router, determining whether there are a weak signal area.

There are also some helper toggles to set up how your phone is connected to the Wi-FI networks and when it is disconnected. Switch faster to mobile data Toggle, for example, will prevent your phone from holding on a weak Wi-Fi signal for a long time and will usually jump on your mobile data more than it-if you have an unlimited data plan and not bothered with the use of your mobile data, you want to make it able to make it.

Re -contact Auto Carrier WiFi Another interesting layout. If you have a carrier like Experti Mobile or Spectrum Mobile, your phone is automatically connected to the public Wi -Fi hotspot of your career to complete your cell coverage. This is as default, but if you don’t want to be so, you can easily disable it with this menu.

I also like exactly Customize Wi-FI list settings From here, you can enable the filter button on your main Wi -Fi network page. When you tap it, you can only choose to see safe networks, Wi -Fi 6 connections, etc.

Finally, if you tap WiFi developer options At the bottom of the contact labs page, you will find a new new Wi -Fi settings with it.

You might have overlooked most of them, but Nearby WiFi Information Page is quite helpful. It shows a list of all the nearby Wi -Fi networks, as well as their signal powers, the best, good, bad and worst classified. If you are in an area with many of the public Wi -Fi networks to choose from, it can be a great way to ensure that you make the best choice.

Who knew it was here?

Wi -Fi settings are togelled in the Samsung contact labs page.

If I did not stumble in this recent reddate thread, I probably never know that there are contact labs. And looking at a small amount of reporting/debate about online contact labs, it seems that most people do not even know about it.

I am not sure why Samsung has buried these settings so deeply and behind such a subcumin. Here are real useful things, and while some settings are a little technical, almost no one can benefit from the features of home Wi -Fi inspection and Wi -Fi filter menu.

I would love to see Samsung making some of these settings more clear, but until that happens, hopefully this article helped you find them.
