Zerobotics’s Counter Top Robots are making 25,000 pizza in a month

xrobotics He thinks he has broken the code to get a pizza restaurant to adopt robotics.

San Francisco -based robotics company created a counter top robot called X pizza cube, almost Stack is the size of a stackable washing machine and uses machine learning machine for sauce, cheese and papers in pizza dough. The machines, which lease 3,300 in a month for three years, can make 100 pizza in an hour and can be re -produced to work with different sizes and styles, such as derivative and Chicago’s deep dish.

“It saves about 70 percent of the time for the staff,” Dennis Rudonov, co -founder and CEO of Zerobotics, told Tech Crunch. “This is just a repetitive task. If you have a papers pizza, you need to cut 50 pieces of papers one by one.”

Zerobotics is not the only company that has tried to introduce robotics in the restaurant industry – nor is it focused on pizza.

Zoom is the most notable pizza robotics company – if it can be considered its own category. Before focusing on sustainable packaging in 2020 and focusing on fully shutting in 2023, the company collected more than 20 420 million in venture capital for its robotic pizza trucks.

Rodunov argued that he has been successful where other companies do not have because they are not trying to completely change the pizza making process, as was zoom, but also to develop technology to help protect the current pizza makers on time and wages.

Since they are building auxiliary technology, as contrary to alternative tech, Rudynov said that he has been able to keep his device fit into the current kitchen so small and is priced at the level that from Pizarias and Pop shops to big chains, in which the company is counting as consumers.

The company found it difficult. Zerobotics launched in 2019 and introduced the first version of this technology in 2021. His first robot was significantly bigger and could work with more than 20 topple, and went into the same issues as he was rivals.

“We did a real pilot in the restaurant with our big machine,” said Rodunov. “We learned a lot from it, and we found out that we needed a very small, compact solution. It was a bit terrifying. All the numbers, all the feelings, all the gut said that you need to do so, it is not. These. And we just followed the intestines and said, ‘Yes, we will go and make a small version,’ and it was a tremendous success.

Zerobotics launches its current model in 2023. How many users the company refused to share? He said his robots are producing 25,000 pizza every month, but how many users translate is difficult to calculate.

Startup also recently collected $ 2.5 million seeds, headed by Finzite Ventures, along with the participation of SOSV, Mana Ventures and Republic Capital. Rodunov said the company would use the capital to produce more units and apply more robots for consumers.

Considering the sheer size of the market, Rodunov said that the zerobotics is committed to the pizza industry, at least for now. Only 73,000 pizza chains in the US. The company plans to expand the next Mexico and Canada.

“I like pizza, my co -founder.” “We have probably tested any pizza in San Francisco. Also, we test pizza in New York and Chicago.” Rudynov added that Detroit styling pizza, known for square shape and crisp cheese layer, is its favorite.
